Impact Fees
Sanitary sewer impact fees are one-time charges assessed on new development to help fund capital improvements needed to expand wastewater collection, conveyance, and treatment capacity. These fees ensure that growth pays its proportionate share of the infrastructure required to serve new development.
Impact fees are restricted to capacity-related improvements and cannot be used for operations, maintenance, or to address existing system deficiencies.

Pursuant to Resolution No. 110-7, the current impact fee for one equivalent dwelling unit (EDU) is $2,453.00. An EDU is defined as each family unit in a single-family residence, multiple dwelling, apartment complex, condominium or mobile dwelling.
Non-residential impact fees are assessed at a rate of $122.65 per fixture unit, with a minimum fee equivalent to one EDU ($2,453.00). The worksheet below may be used to calculate applicable non-residential impact fees:
